Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10-year sentence for his involvement in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, has been hospitalized after being stabbed in prison.
The incident occurred on Monday, May 12, 2025, during a heated altercation in the yard of the California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi. According to TMZ, Lanez, 32, was quickly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance following the attack, which is reported to be non-life-threatening.
Lanez’s sentence stems from his conviction for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, who testified that he had ordered her to “dance” before firing. While the motive behind the prison stabbing is still under investigation, authorities are looking into the details of the altercation.
