Thomas Partey Granted Bail with Strict Conditions, Faces Rape and Assault Charges in UK

Bail conditions have been outlined for former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey following his appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London on Tuesday.
As part of the conditions, Partey is prohibited from contacting any of the women involved in the case. Additionally, he is required to inform the police of any permanent changes to his residence or any international travel plans.
During the hearing, Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring appeared to confirm that Partey is now playing in Spain, noting, “I understand he’s no longer employed in this country and playing in Spain now,” which suggests the Ghanaian is joining La Liga side Villarreal.
Partey is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on September 2.
The 32-year-old is facing a total of six charges — five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault — involving three different women.
The Ghana international parted ways with Arsenal at the end of June, following the expiration of his contract. He was formally charged just four days after leaving the North London club.
