Tacha Reveals She’s in a Relationship, Says No Ring, No Public Claim

Former Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ housemate Tacha Akide has revealed that she is currently in a relationship but is choosing to keep the romance away from the public eye.
The reality TV star and influencer made the disclosure during an appearance on the Morayo Afolabi show, where she discussed relationships and the challenges of finding love while in the public eye.
Tacha said she has someone she likes but would rather not publicly label the relationship until there is a stronger commitment.
“Well, there’s something I like, but if there’s no ring, are you going to come and say I’m in a relationship?” she said.
She explained that she would describe him as someone she likes for now, noting that circumstances could change and the relationship could end before any formal commitment.
Tacha said keeping her relationship private is partly a way of protecting herself from the intense public attention that often follows celebrity breakups.
According to her, relationships can become particularly difficult when personal issues are subjected to public scrutiny and commentary.
The influencer also spoke about companionship in the entertainment industry, describing the experience of being successful in the public eye as lonely at times.
“In this industry, you need that one person because it is always lonely at the top,” she said.
On her preferred qualities in a partner, Tacha said she is drawn to men who are reserved and composed in public but comfortable expressing themselves around her.
“Wow, I love very quiet guys. I want you to be very talky around me, very outspoken around me, but outside maintain steeze,” she said.
She added that she wants a man who is hardworking and shares her love for God.
Tacha also revealed that she would rather not date a man whose physical appearance attracts more attention than hers.
“Please, I don’t like beautiful man. I should be the very fine one and then have money too so I will not be managing your roller coaster of emotions,” she added.
