Spotify Unveils 2026 Songs of Summer List Featuring Tems, Drake, Ariana Grande

Spotify has released its 2026 “Songs of Summer” predictions, spotlighting 30 tracks expected to dominate the season, alongside a new in-app feature allowing users to vote for their own favourite for the first time.

The selection, compiled by Spotify’s editorial team, includes global stars such as Drake and Ariana Grande, as well as African acts like Nigerian singer Tems, who features on Dave’s “Raindance,” and Ghanaian duo DopeNation with their track “Kakalika.”

For the first time, fans can participate directly by voting for their preferred Song of the Summer through a dedicated button within the playlist, with results also shareable across social platforms.

Spotify noted several key musical trends shaping 2026, including nostalgia-driven dance records, cross-border global dance influences, introspective “Sadboy Summer” tracks, and the rise of “Postcard Country,” which highlights location-inspired storytelling in music.

The list spans a wide range of genres and artists, featuring entries from ANOTR, Ariana Grande, Bebe Rexha, Dominic Fike, Don Toliver, Drake, and DopeNation, among others, reflecting the platform’s forecast of the season’s most influential sounds.
