SEC Unveils Redesigned Website to Boost Transparency, Investor Access

New digital platform features modern interface, improved navigation, and mobile compatibility.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has rolled out a redesigned version of its official website, unveiling a more user-friendly and accessible digital platform aimed at strengthening communication with investors, market operators, and the public.

The revamped site, launched on September 1, offers a modern layout, streamlined functionality, and mobile responsiveness, all part of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to enhance regulatory transparency and efficiency.

In a statement released Monday, the capital market regulator said the upgrade simplifies access to essential documents, guidelines, and publications through an intuitive site structure.

“This comprehensive upgrade introduces a modern design, enhanced functionality, and a streamlined user experience,” the Commission stated.

“Key features include an intuitive menu for quick access to information, consolidated regulatory resources, and a fully responsive design optimized for desktop and mobile users.”

Commitment to Transparency and Digital Excellence

SEC Director-General, Emomotimi Agama, described the website overhaul as a reflection of the Commission’s commitment to innovation and accessibility.

“This digital advancement is a significant step in building a more transparent and accessible Commission,” Agama said.
“It enhances our engagement with the capital market and the investing public, while supporting our goal of operational excellence.”

Also commenting on the launch, Executive Commissioner for Corporate Services, Samiya Usman,noted that the redesign was focused on more than just aesthetics.

“By simplifying access and logically organizing content, we have created a powerful platform that supports our mission to develop and regulate a fair, efficient, and transparent capital market,” Usman said.

  • Simplified Navigation: An intuitive menu that helps users find relevant information faster.
  • Consolidated Resources: Regulatory documents, circulars, guidelines, and market updates are now organized and easier to locate.
