According to a report by ESPN, President of the United States, Donald Trump, is expected to attend the final match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which is scheduled to take place this Sunday at the MetLife Stadium.
This year’s Club World Cup began last month and featured participation from 32 teams around the globe, marking a significant expansion of the tournament.
Chelsea FC has already secured their place in the final following a commanding 2-0 victory over Brazilian side Fluminense in the semi-final held on Tuesday. The Premier League club from west London booked their spot in the decisive match thanks to a brace from forward Joao Pedro.
Chelsea will now await the winner of the other semi-final clash between Spanish giants Real Madrid and French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain. That match is set to be played on Wednesday night, also at MetLife Stadium.
Manchester City, the reigning champions of the Club World Cup, claimed the title in the previous edition of the tournament.
