Pep Guardiola Confirms Manchester City Exit

Pep Guardiola has officially announced that he will step down as manager of Manchester City F.C. after 10 years in charge.

The Spaniard confirmed his decision in a statement released on Friday.

“And what a time we have had together,” Guardiola said.

“Don’t ask me the reasons I’m leaving.

“There is no reason, but deep inside, I know it’s my time.”

Despite having one year remaining on his contract, Guardiola will leave the Etihad at the end of the season.

The 55-year-old secured a domestic cup double in his final season, although City fell short in the Premier League title race following a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth.

During his decade-long spell, Guardiola guided City to 20 trophies, including six league titles and the UEFA Champions League crown.
