AS Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba has tipped Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé as his top choice to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
In a recent conversation with streamer iShowSpeed, Pogba also commended PSG stars Achraf Hakimi and Vitinha for their impressive performances this season but emphasized that Dembélé stands out as the frontrunner for the prestigious individual honor.
Pogba, a former Manchester United and Juventus star, underlined Dembélé’s pivotal role in PSG’s UEFA Champions League triumph, stating that this could be his only real opportunity to claim football’s most coveted individual prize.
“I back Dembouz [Dembélé] 100 percent—he won the UCL, and he was vital this season,” Pogba said. “If he doesn’t win it this year, he never will. Hakimi and Vitinha were great too, but Dembélé is the favorite for the Ballon d’Or.”
The 2025 Ballon d’Or winner is scheduled to be announced this September at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
