Paul Gascoigne Hospitalized After Being Found Collapsed at Home, Now in Stable Condition

Former England international Paul Gascoigne has been hospitalized after being discovered collapsed at his residence in Dorset by a close friend, Steve Foster.

As reported by The Sun, the 58-year-old ex-midfielder was found semi-conscious in his bedroom and was immediately taken to hospital, where he was initially admitted to the intensive care unit.

Gascoigne has since been transferred to an acute medical unit and is currently in stable condition, providing a positive outlook for his recovery.

In a brief statement, Foster expressed gratitude on behalf of Gascoigne, saying, “He would like to thank everyone for the support he has received so far from so many old friends who wish him well and want to see him back to his best.”

Gascoigne, widely regarded as one of England’s most talented midfielders of his generation, earned 57 international caps between 1988 and 1998. Over the course of his club career, he played for teams including Burnley, Middlesbrough, Everton, Boston United, and Chinese outfit Gansu Tianma before retiring from professional football in 2004.
