Opta SuperComputer Predicts Chelsea as Favorite to Win 2025 Club World Cup

The Opta SuperComputer has made its prediction for the winner of the 2025 Club World Cup ahead of the quarter-final matches scheduled for this weekend.
The competition now features eight remaining teams: Chelsea, Fluminense, Palmeiras, Paris Saint-Germain, Al-Hilal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund.
In the quarter-finals, Chelsea will face Fluminense, while Real Madrid are set to play Borussia Dortmund. The standout fixture of the round is the clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich. The final quarter-final encounter will see Fluminense going up against Al-Hilal.
According to Opta’s forecast, Chelsea is the slight favorite to lift the trophy with a 26.44% chance, narrowly edging out Paris Saint-Germain, who hold a 25.45% probability.
Real Madrid have been assigned a 16.59% chance of winning the tournament, with Bayern Munich close behind at 14.78%.
