Akinade Onigbinde has stepped down from his role as technical adviser of Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Doma United, bringing an end to his three-year stint with the Savannah Tigers.
Onigbinde guided the Gombe-based club to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the 2023/24 season, marking a historic promotion. However, the team suffered relegation after just one campaign in the top flight.
Despite a strong performance in the NNL last season, Doma United narrowly missed out on a place in the promotion playoffs.
The club is now expected to announce a new technical adviser before the start of the upcoming NNL season.
