After weeks of building anticipation, Olamide has officially released his latest single, Kai, featuring longtime collaborator Wizkid. Dropping on April 29, 2025, Kai blends the infectious Konto rhythm with playful verses as the duo serenades a love interest, showcasing their signature swagger and affluence.
The release marks a notable reunion for the artists, coming 14 years after their first collaboration on 2011’s Omo To Shan.
Kai also sets the tone for Olamide’s newly announced self-titled 17-track album, slated for release on June 3, 2025. The project signals a shift in direction for the Grammy-nominated rapper, who had previously teased a follow-up to his Ikigai EP series.
