Chairman of Niger Tornadoes, Ibrahim Dada, has called on his team to uphold discipline as they prepare for a strong campaign in the upcoming football season.
The Ikon Allah Boys are set to begin their 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) journey with an opening match against Nasarawa United, scheduled for Wednesday in Ilorin.
In a meeting with the squad held in Minna, Dada encouraged the players to set the tone for the season with a positive performance.
“As we embark on this new season, I want to remind you all that discipline is essential to achieving our goals,” Dada told the players in a address in Minna.
To bolster their backroom staff, the club recently enhanced its technical team by appointing Hamza Abdulazeez Abara on Sunday.
It is worth noting that the same fixture last season between Tornadoes and Nasarawa United ended in a scoreless stalemate.
