Napoli Reign Supreme in Serie A After Decisive Cagliari Win

Napoli clinched their fourth Serie A title on Friday, defeating Cagliari 2-0 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Goals from Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku secured the victory, ensuring Napoli finished one point ahead of Inter Milan, who won their match against Como.

McTominay opened the scoring with an acrobatic bicycle kick just before halftime, marking his 12th league goal of the season. Lukaku doubled the lead early in the second half, bringing his tally to 14 goals and 10 assists for the season.

Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, who became the first coach to win the Italian championship with three different teams, Napoli rebounded from a tenth-place finish last season to claim the title.

The victory sparked jubilant celebrations across Naples, with fans gathering in large numbers to commemorate the club’s success.

Inter Milan, despite their win, fell short in the title race and will now focus on the upcoming Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli’s triumph marks their second Serie A title in three years and solidifies their resurgence as a dominant force in Italian football.
