NANDAP takes over as the new Immigration CG under Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of DCG, Kemi Nandap, to serve as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, stated that Nandap’s appointment would begin on March 1, 2024.

Nandap takes over from Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term in office expires on February 29, 2024.

Deputy Comptroller-General Nandap oversaw the Migration Directorate of the Service prior to her appointment as Comptroller-General.

The statement stated that the President expected the new Comptroller-General to further the ongoing reforms in the service, establish a strong framework for the effective and committed provision of services to Nigerians, and bolster national security by means of proactive and efficient border security and migration management.
