Manchester United have confirmed that young left-back Harry Amass has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan.
The Red Devils announced the deal on transfer deadline day (Monday), noting that it marks the teenager’s first loan spell away from Old Trafford.
Amass, who turned 18 this year, made his senior debut for United on his birthday, featuring as a substitute in a Premier League victory at Leicester City.
In a separate development, United also confirmed that winger Jadon Sancho has secured a season-long loan move to Aston Villa for the 2025/26 campaign.
As part of the agreement, Villa will cover Sancho’s loan fee and 80 percent of his wages during his stay at Villa Park. The England international is in the final year of his United contract, though the club retains an option to extend it by an additional season.
