Kennedy Boboye is set to guide Nigeria Women’s League champions Edo Queens at the 2026 WAFU B Women’s Champions League in Burkina Faso.
The Bendel Insurance technical adviser will take charge on an interim basis, replacing Moses Aduku, who is away with the U-20 women’s national team.
Boboye, a former Nigeria international, is expected to provide his experience as Edo Queens pursue continental success.
The Nigerian champions are in Group B alongside ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa FC and AS Garde Nationale du Niger.
Winning the tournament will earn the champions a place in the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League later this year.
