Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, has candidly revealed that alcohol has been a part of his pre-performance routine—until now.
The Soweto hitmaker admitted he has never stepped on stage without having taken alcohol beforehand. However, during a recent conversation with Behind The Prestige, Victony shared his intention to break that pattern on his ongoing Stubborn tour.
“This tour is a big challenge for me,” he said. “I’ve never performed sober before, but this time I want to see my fans clearly and truly connect with them. I just want to try something different.”
Victony’s new approach aims to deepen his connection with audiences by delivering an authentic, unfiltered experience on stage.
