Iheanacho Returns to Sevilla for Pre-Season Amid Uncertainty Over Future

Kelechi Iheanacho has reported back to Sevilla for pre-season training despite ongoing uncertainty regarding his long-term future at the club.
The Nigerian forward joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer last summer but struggled to make a significant impact in his debut campaign, failing to register a goal in nine La Liga appearances.
However, Iheanacho did manage to find the net twice in the Copa del Rey, offering glimpses of his attacking potential.
In January, the 28-year-old was loaned to English Championship side Middlesbrough, where he recorded one goal and two assists across 15 league appearances.
With the arrival of new head coach Matías Almeyda at Sevilla, Iheanacho could have a fresh opportunity to stake his claim for a place in the squad ahead of the new season.
The former Leicester City striker still has two years remaining on his contract with the Andalusian club, who are former UEFA Europa League champions.
