Rapper Ice Prince, Apala musician Musiliu Haruna Ishola, Terry Apala and Atawewe are among the artistes scheduled to perform at Felabration 2026, as the annual festival prepares to celebrate the legacy of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Other performers on the announced lineup include Slimcase, Kleva Jay, Ceeza Milli, T.Classic, Sunkey Snoop, Soundboi and Labule. More artistes are expected to be announced ahead of the festival.
The event, themed ‘Who Are You?’, will run from October 12 to 18 at the New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja, Lagos.
The week-long programme will feature music performances alongside activities centred on art, fashion, dance and intellectual engagement.
Yeni Kuti, co-manager of the New Afrika Shrine, said the festival continues to provide a platform for promoting Nigerian culture and keeping Fela’s legacy alive.
She described the event as an opportunity to bring together people from different parts of the world while showcasing the country’s cultural heritage.
“It’s a very positive thing because if you come to the Shrine, you see people from all over the world. I’m glad that we are doing it and we are promoting our culture,” Kuti said.
Established in 1998, Felabration is an annual celebration of Fela’s life, music and influence on African music and culture.
The 2026 edition will continue the festival’s tradition of combining live performances with cultural activities in honour of the late musician’s enduring legacy.
