“Free Tuface”: Cynthia Morgan Criticizes 2Baba’s Wife, Questions Motive Behind Singer’s Apology

Ex-dancehall artist calls out Natasha Osawaru, alleges pressure behind 2Baba’s public apology and urges fans to pray for him.

Former Nigerian dancehall sensation Cynthia Morgan has stirred online debate after calling out Natasha Osawaru, the wife of music legend 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia), over what she believes was a coerced public apology.

In a now-viral Instagram Story, Morgan questioned the sincerity behind 2Baba’s recent apology, which followed backlash over his remarks suggesting men are not biologically inclined toward monogamy.

The apology, which sparked wide reaction online, appears not to have convinced the former singer, who believes external pressure, especially from his current partner may have played a role.

“You can’t purge a man like Tuface into monogamy overnight,” she wrote.

Taking her criticism further, Morgan questioned the veteran artist’s religious identity and referenced his personal life: “At 49, with 7 kids from 3 women, are we surprised he thinks he’s polygamous in nature? I’m not.”

She ended her post with a plea: “Pray for Tuface,” adding a biblical reference from Proverbs 29:15: “Indiscipline truly brings shame.” She signed off with a pointed call—“Free Tuface.”

The comments come amid mounting public concern over 2Baba’s recent behavior and relationship dynamics, with other public figures like Daddy Freeze and Charles Idibia also weighing in.

As of the time of reporting, 2Baba and Natasha Osawaru have not responded to Cynthia Morgan’s remarks.
