Doyin Urges BBNaija Season 11 Housemates to Be Bold Ahead of Premiere

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Doyin David has advised contestants for the upcoming 11th edition of the reality show to embrace their personalities and avoid blending into the background.

Speaking at the BBNaija Season 11 pre-show media launch in Lagos, Doyin encouraged the new housemates to be authentic and unafraid of public opinion, saying viewers are more likely to remember contestants who are true to themselves.

“My advice to the incoming BBNaija Season 11 housemates is, don’t be boring, don’t be a piece of furniture. Don’t be scared of people judging you,” she said.

She urged the contestants to express themselves freely, noting that any consequences of their actions could be dealt with later.

“Say whatever you want to say and do whatever you want to do. You will deal with consequences later,” she added.

Doyin also stressed the importance of emotional independence inside the Big Brother house, advising participants not to rely on friendships for validation.

“Learn how to have fun by yourself. When you are in that house, you might not have a lot of friends, but you need to be able to stand alone and don’t be depressed about it,” she said.

Organisers have announced that Big Brother Naija Season 11 will premiere on July 26, 2026.

The new season will feature the show’s biggest prize yet, with the winner set to receive a N160 million package, including N100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV.
