DapperDam Challenges Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, T.I Blaze to Independent Audit Over Contract Disputes

Music executive DapperDam has responded to allegations raised by Nigerian artistes Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi and T.I Blaze over their professional dealings with him.
The executive addressed the claims in a series of posts on his official X account on Saturday, August 15, 2026, denying the allegations and maintaining that documentary records would establish what transpired between the parties.
DapperDam also challenged the artistes to submit their contracts and financial records to independent auditors for examination.
He said he would not engage in personal attacks, insisting that his focus remained on his work in the music industry.
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth,” he wrote.
DapperDam accused the artistes of presenting what he described as misleading accounts of their dealings with him and insisted that their departures from the relationship were voluntary.
“You chose to leave! No one forced you,” he said, adding that he believed the parties should move forward separately.
DapperDam disputes ‘who made who’ claim
The music executive also addressed the history of his relationship with the artistes, saying it dates back to 2021.
According to him, he provided funding for the first project before receiving any music from the artiste involved.
He questioned claims surrounding who was responsible for the other party’s career success, saying his own achievements were ultimately rooted in his faith and personal efforts.
DapperDam also referred to Shallipopi as “Mr. Elon” in his posts.
Executive calls for forensic review
DapperDam said an audit had already been carried out by what he described as a reputable firm but invited the artistes to commission another independent examination.
He suggested that established auditing and law firms could review the contracts and financial records.
“Let them run a forensic analysis and interpret both the accounts and the contract for us, and tell you I cheated you!” he wrote.
The challenge comes amid allegations involving contracts and payments between DapperDam and the artistes.
Dispute over scheduled appearance
DapperDam also disputed an allegation concerning a scheduled appearance involving Shallipopi.
He claimed that he attended the event while Shallipopi did not, questioning the artiste’s position regarding potential court proceedings.
“For our last scheduled appearance, you didn’t show up… I was there,” he said.
DapperDam concluded his response by maintaining that the relevant records remain available and that the appropriate processes are underway.
“I have said what I need to say. The records are available. The appropriate processes are ongoing,” he wrote.
The competing claims remain disputed, with DapperDam maintaining that an independent review of the contracts and financial records would provide clarity on the issues raised.
