Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi is currently topping the race for the 2026 Golden Boy Award, according to the latest standings published by Tuttosport ahead of the final voting later this year.
Cubarsi has already claimed an individual honour this year after being named Best Young Player at the 2026 World Cup.
His Barcelona teammate Lamine Yamal is second, although he is ineligible to win the award again under the competition’s regulations.
Yan Diomande occupies third place, followed by Warren Zaire-Emery and Ayyoub Bouaddi in fourth and fifth respectively.
The 2026 Golden Boy winner is expected to be announced in November.
