Chelsea’s Caleb Wiley Returns to Watford on Season-Long Loan

Chelsea defender Caleb Wiley has rejoined Championship side Watford on a season-long loan, the Premier League club confirmed in an official statement on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old United States international previously spent the latter part of last season at Vicarage Road, making 10 appearances for the Hornets.
Wiley signed for Chelsea in July 2024 from Major League Soccer outfit Atlanta United. After representing the U.S. at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, he stayed in France to join Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg on loan, where he featured in six matches.
In February, Wiley made a mid-season move to Watford, where he completed the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign. Now, he returns to the club for another spell aimed at furthering his development.
Chelsea stated: “We look forward to supporting Caleb throughout his loan. Good luck, Caleb.”
