Chelsea and Arsenal both confirmed outgoing transfer deadline day moves on Monday involving Ben Chilwell and Reiss Nelson.
Chelsea announced via their official website that Chilwell has completed a permanent switch to RC Strasbourg. The England international joined the Blues from Leicester City in the summer of 2020, scoring on his Premier League debut and going on to establish himself as a key figure in the squad.
Meanwhile, Arsenal confirmed that winger Reiss Nelson has joined Brentford on a season-long loan. The 25-year-old impressed on loan at Fulham last season before injury interrupted his progress.
Nelson, who has been with Arsenal for 17 years, made 90 senior appearances for the Gunners, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists during his time at the Emirates.
