Carragher Suggests Matheus Cunha’s Arrival at Man United Could Lead to Garnacho’s Departure

Former England defender Jamie Carragher has suggested that the potential arrival of striker Matheus Cunha at Manchester United could signal the end of Alejandro Garnacho’s time at Old Trafford.
Reports emerged on Monday indicating that Cunha has reached an agreement to join Manchester United this summer from Wolves, with the club reportedly looking to activate his £62.5 million release clause.
When asked how Cunha’s transfer might affect Garnacho’s future, Carragher told Sky Sports, “It is certainly not good news because I think Amad Diallo might play one of those other positions [in the attack] alongside Cunha and maybe Bruno Fernandes at different times. I think if a decent offer comes in for Garnacho, Manchester United will probably take it.”
Manchester United are eager to strengthen their squad this summer following a disappointing Premier League debut season under manager Ruben Amorim. The club has been linked with several high-profile players, including Cunha, as they look to bolster their attacking options.
