Blessing CEO Confirms Son’s Death, Disowns N56m Bail Fundraiser

Controversial Nigerian relationship influencer Blessing CEO has confirmed the death of her son, Bryan Onyedikachi, while distancing herself from a fundraising campaign launched in her name.
Blessing, who is currently in prison, reportedly lost her second son while in custody.
The development was first made public in a viral video by Amira Agiye, Chief Executive Officer of the Isaamira Foundation, who appealed for financial support for Blessing.
However, in a recorded phone conversation with actress Doris Ogala, Blessing confirmed that her son had died but said she never authorised Agiye to make the announcement or solicit money on her behalf.
“I didn’t give anybody consent,” Blessing said.
She added that she should have been the person to announce the death of her son, describing Agiye as someone she did not know.
“I think I’m in the best position to break the news of my son’s death, not an entire stranger,” she said.
Blessing also denied claims that she was seeking financial assistance to meet her bail conditions.
Ogala, who shared the recorded conversation, subsequently urged anyone who had donated money through the fundraiser to seek a refund.
According to Ogala, Blessing is nearing the completion of her bail conditions and related processes. She also rejected the claim that the influencer was soliciting N56 million for bail, describing the fundraising appeal as fraudulent.
The controversy follows the confirmation of the death of Blessing’s son at a time when she remains in custody.
Blessing has now made clear that while the death of her son is genuine, she did not authorise the fundraising effort or the public announcement made by Agiye.
