AS Roma Women Target Nigeria’s Omorinsola Babajide After Tenerife Exit

AS Roma Women are preparing to make a move for Super Falcons forward Omorinsola Babajide.

Babajide is in search of a new challenge after parting ways with Spanish Liga F side UD Tenerife in May, following the conclusion of her contract.

The 28-year-old enjoyed an impressive final campaign in Spain, recording 10 goals and five assists across 26 league matches.

A dynamic and adaptable attacker, Babajide is currently representing Nigeria at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where she has already contributed one goal and one assist in two outings for the Super Falcons.

Much of her professional career has been based in England, where she has featured for several clubs, including Crystal Palace, Millwall Lionesses, Watford, Liverpool, and Brighton & Hove Albion.
