Abuja Unveils N39 Billion Revamped International Conference Centre
President Tinubu Commissions State-of-the-Art Facility Ahead of Democracy Day Celebrations; FCT Minister Wike Celebrates

Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu today officially commissioned the newly renovated International Conference Centre in Abuja, a project completed at an estimated cost of N39 billion. The commissioning ceremony took place shortly after the President’s arrival from Lagos, where he had been observing the Eid al-Kabir festivities.
President Tinubu’s return to the capital marks the final stages of preparation for Nigeria’s Democracy Day anniversary, slated for June 12, 2025. The newly upgraded facility is expected to play a significant role in hosting key national and international events.
A visibly elated Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, was a prominent figure at the commissioning. He was observed celebrating the completion of the major infrastructure project, reflecting the administration’s focus on urban development and improving public facilities in the nation’s capital.
