AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze could be out of action for several weeks after suffering a hip injury.
The Nigerian international missed Wednesday’s training session as Milan prepared for their UEFA Europa League clash with Premier League side Bournemouth.
Sport Mediaset reports that the 27-year-old will undergo a specialist assessment to establish the severity of the injury after experiencing discomfort in his left hip.
Milan are concerned the problem could keep him out for weeks or potentially months.
Chukwueze has made a strong start to the season under Ruben Amorim following his return from a loan spell at Fulham, recording two assists in eight appearances across all competitions for the Serie A club.
