Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has offered words of encouragement to Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following a serious knee injury.
PSG confirmed on Wednesday that the Georgian international suffered the injury during Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Barcelona.
Kvaratskhelia is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days and faces several months on the sidelines.
The winger later took to Instagram to express his disappointment over the setback.
Reacting to his post, Ronaldo wrote, “The toughest battles in football are often the ones nobody sees. I know that feeling, Kvara. Keep that fire on. Your best is still to come.”
