Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has opened up about his health challenges, saying he has prayed that when his time comes, he would not leave his family struggling to care for him.
Edochie made the disclosure while visiting fellow actor Emmanuel, who is reportedly ill, in Accra, Ghana, on Wednesday as part of his legacy tour.
The veteran actor shared details of his own health struggles while offering words of encouragement to his colleague.
He disclosed that walking had become increasingly difficult for him and that he often wakes up to find some parts of his body swollen.
Speaking about the possibility of becoming seriously dependent on his family, Edochie said he had asked God to take him when his time comes rather than subjecting his loved ones to prolonged distress.
