Manchester City have formally challenged the Premier League Commission’s findings in the club’s disciplinary case.
The club confirmed that it submitted a detailed appeal at 7pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026, disputing the Commission’s findings on several grounds.
In a statement published on its website on Friday, City said the findings contained clear material errors of law, principle and fact and described the decision as unsafe.
The club maintained that it is innocent of the allegations brought by the Premier League, insisting that substantial evidence supports its position.
City said it would continue to respect the disciplinary process but noted that ongoing proceedings limit what it can disclose publicly.
The appeal now moves the case into its next phase, with the final outcome yet to be determined.
