The Delta State Government has called on Warri Wolves to quickly move past their 1-0 defeat to Rangers in the rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League Week Two fixture.
State Commissioner for Sports, Onoriode Oborevwori, made the appeal after the match at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro.
Oborevwori attributed the Seasiders’ loss to poor officiating but urged the players to stay focused and prepare for their next league assignment against Doma United.
He told the team: “Please put the game behind you and focus on the next game against Doma United.”
“I believe in you guys. Your next match, I know you can do it. Let’s go and get the big three points.”
