Madagascar’s Barea have landed in Uyo ahead of their opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The 28-man delegation touched down at Victor Attah International Airport at 2:05 p.m. on Monday before completing immigration formalities and heading to their hotel.
More players and officials are expected in Uyo on Tuesday as the Barea step up preparations for Friday’s Matchday 1 clash at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Corentin Martins’ men will then face Tanzania’s Taifa Stars four days later in their Matchday 2 encounter.
