Tanzanian music star Juma Jux emerged as one of the major winners at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards, securing two honours at the ceremony in Dallas, Texas.
The event returned to the United States on Monday, September 14, after a two-year hiatus, attracting leading African artistes and entertainment industry figures.
Juma Jux claimed the Best Collaboration award for “Joy”, his joint track with fellow Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz.
He also received the Music Without Borders Award for his contribution to connecting audiences across countries and cultures through music.
His double triumph generated significant attention online, with his marriage to Nigerian actress and influencer Priscilla Ojo also drawing interest.
Ojo celebrated her husband’s achievement, joining fans and followers in applauding his success.
The awards further strengthen Juma Jux’s standing in African music and highlight his growing influence across the continent.
