China has successfully launched seven new satellites into orbit aboard a Long March-6C carrier rocket, marking another milestone in the country’s expanding space programme.
The rocket blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province, northern China, and delivered the satellites into their designated orbits, according to China’s Xinhua News Agency.
The mission marks the 665th flight of the Long March family of carrier rockets, one of the world’s most active launch vehicle series.
The latest launch adds to China’s growing number of space missions as Beijing continues to expand its satellite capabilities and strengthen its position in the global space sector.
