Algerian club USM Khenchela have reportedly shown interest in signing Junior Ayobami following the midfielder’s contract expiration with Nigeria Premier Football League side, Shooting Stars.
The Algerian outfit is keen on securing the services of the player, who played a key role in helping Shooting Stars secure qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup last season.
Shooting Stars are also looking to retain Ayobami, with the club prepared to offer him an improved contract if he chooses to continue with the Oluyole Warriors.
The midfielder is expected to make a decision on his future before the commencement of the 2026-27 season.
Ayobami has made 96 appearances for Shooting Stars and previously featured for Kano Pillars and Kwara United.
