Young Talents Inspire Kun Khalifat’s NPFL Survival Push

Kun Khalifat FC has acknowledged the significant contributions of its emerging talents, Ajibola Emmanuel and Nnorom Mmesoma, as the team intensifies efforts to secure its status in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The duo’s impact has been highlighted as a key factor in the club’s ongoing battle to steer clear of relegation.

Mmesoma played a decisive role in the team’s recent outing, finding the back of the net during Kun Khalifat’s 2-1 triumph over Kano Pillars on Sunday. The encounter, held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, saw the young player deliver a performance that proved crucial in securing all three points for the home side.

Club officials have pointed to both Emmanuel and Mmesoma as central figures in their fight for survival this season, noting that their youthful energy and determination have injected renewed hope into the squad at a critical stage of the campaign.

“Ajibola Emmanuel and Nnorom Mmesoma, our wonder kids, keep doing the impossible,” Kun Khalifat FC posted on social media.

The victory in the matchday 36 fixture has improved Kun Khalifat’s standing on the NPFL table, lifting the Owerri-based side to 17th position as they continue to push for safety.

With the season approaching its conclusion, Kun Khalifat now turns its attention to two decisive fixtures against Abia Warriors and Wikki Tourists, matches that are expected to determine their fate in the league.
