Former Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has tipped his old club to defeat Arsenal when both sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in a top-of-the-table Premier League encounter.
Chelsea head into the game on the back of a confidence-boosting 3-0 Champions League win over Barcelona, a performance Cahill believes puts the Blues in a strong position mentally.
Arsenal have lost just once in the league this season, but Cahill insists Chelsea will not be intimidated by Mikel Arteta’s side.
“These are the games you can’t lose if you want to win a title,” Cahill told newsmen. He predicted a 2-1 victory for Chelsea, adding, “I’ve got to back the boys — they turn up against the big teams.”
