Mbappe Could Make Club World Cup Debut vs Juventus, Says Xabi Alonso

Real Madrid could have Kylian Mbappe available for their Club World Cup last-16 clash against Juventus on Tuesday.
Manager Xabi Alonso has revealed there is a “big possibility” the French forward will be fit in time to feature in the high-stakes encounter.
Mbappe, 26, has missed all three of Madrid’s group-stage matches after being diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis just before the tournament began.
“We will talk to him in the morning to make the final decision,” Alonso told reporters.
“It’s a big possibility that he makes his Club World Cup debut tomorrow, though. I don’t know how much, but it’s a big possibility.”
Alonso also confirmed that defenders Éder Militão and Dani Carvajal are fully fit and available for selection.
Real Madrid have recorded two wins and one draw in the competition so far.
