Spanish club Real Betis are planning a summer transfer for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League last season, Ndidi is widely expected to leave the club during the current transfer window.
The 28-year-old midfielder reportedly has a €7 million release clause included in the three-year contract he signed with the Foxes last summer.
According to Diario de Sevilla, Real Betis have already made preliminary enquiries about Ndidi’s availability.
The LaLiga side, who finished as runners-up to Chelsea in the UEFA Europa Conference League final last season, are aiming to strengthen their midfield ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Ndidi is considered by the Spanish club as an ideal fit for their tactical setup.
The Nigeria international originally joined Leicester City from Belgian side KRC Genk in 2017.
