Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al Hilal is maintaining pressure in its pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with reports indicating a fresh bid is being prepared to lure the Napoli star.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed in a post on Monday that although Osimhen turned down a move to Al Hilal just 10 days ago, the club has not given up and is ready to return with a new proposal.
“Al Hilal are not giving up on Victor Osimhen as they want to submit [a] new proposal to the player. Osimhen rejected 10 days ago but Al Hilal insist,” Romano posted.
The battle for Osimhen’s signature remains wide open, with several elite European clubs still monitoring developments. Galatasaray are actively pursuing a permanent deal, while unnamed Premier League sides remain in the race. Serie A giants Juventus have also reportedly rekindled their interest and reestablished contact in recent days.
Osimhen continues to attract global attention following an impressive campaign in which he starred for Galatasaray during a successful loan spell. The Nigerian international has cemented his reputation as one of the most in-demand strikers in world football.
