Moses Simon has responded to ongoing speculation linking him with a potential move to Premier League side Everton.
The Nigerian international has been regularly mentioned as a transfer target for the Merseyside club following another standout season with French Ligue 1 outfit Nantes.
Simon, 29, delivered an impressive performance during the recently concluded campaign, contributing eight goals and 10 assists across all competitions. The winger has now spent five seasons with Nantes, establishing himself as a key figure in their squad.
Speaking about the transfer rumours, Simon acknowledged his ambition to play in the Premier League but emphasized that he is not in a rush to leave his current club.
“I’ve always given my best for this club, and I respect my contract. But of course, every player wants to play at the highest level,” he told Sports Boom.
He added, “The Premier League is one of the best in the world. If the right offer comes, and it’s good for me and my family, then why not? But I’m not desperate.”
