Xabi Alonso Skips Vacation to Start Work at Real Madrid Early

Xabi Alonso, the outgoing manager of Bayer Leverkusen, has decided to forgo his vacation and begin his work at Real Madrid ahead of schedule. Alonso recently announced that he would be leaving Leverkusen at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 43-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract with the Spanish giants to take over as their new head coach, replacing Carlo Ancelotti, who is set to become the head coach of the Brazil national team in the coming weeks.
According to reports from @COPE on X, Alonso has opted to skip his break and join Real Madrid immediately. He will assist the team in their preparations for the FIFA Club World Cup, which begins in June.
Alonso, a former Real Madrid player, enjoyed a distinguished career with clubs such as Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Real Sociedad before taking on his managerial role.
