“Witchcraft Is Everywhere Now” — Actress Juliana Olayode Warns Against Spiritual Traps Online
Toyo Baby of Jenifa’s Diary recounts a chilling encounter with an online ad she believes was a doorway to spiritual manipulation.

Nollywood actress and outspoken Christian advocate Juliana Olayode, popularly known as Toyo Baby from Jenifa’s Diary, has issued a strong warning about spiritual dangers lurking in seemingly harmless online content.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Olayode recounted a recent personal experience that left her shaken. She described casually browsing her phone when she encountered an ad that read, “Have you ever broken a bone before?”—a question that appeared innocent at first.
Out of curiosity, she clicked on the link, but was instantly overwhelmed by what she described as an intense, unsettling feeling. She immediately closed the site, questioning why she had even engaged with it in the first place.
Reflecting on the moment, Olayode warned her followers about the subtle nature of spiritual deception. “Witchcraft is everywhere these days; they’re not hiding anymore. They don’t need midnight to fly,” she declared.
She cautioned that online prompts involving past lives, tarot cards, incense, or certain trending music can serve as hidden gateways into spiritual bondage. According to her, these experiences can open the “gates to the soul,” allowing negative spiritual forces access—often without the individual realizing it.
The actress referenced scriptures including Acts 16:16–18 to emphasize the need for spiritual awareness and reminded her audience that a genuine relationship with God comes only through Jesus Christ.
“Some people will even deceive you into burning incense to remove dark energy, etc. It’s all a trap!” she warned. “You gotta guard your gates, the gates to your soul. Be very careful, very prayerful, and highly discerning.”
Olayode’s message sparked widespread reactions online, with many applauding her for addressing a subject often overlooked in entertainment circles.
Her call for vigilance is the latest in her ongoing effort to combine faith and fame, using her platform to challenge cultural norms and encourage spiritual mindfulness.
