Watford have reportedly pulled out of a deal to re-sign Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis.
The 27-year-old has been training with the Hornets since his contract with Premier League side Nottingham Forest was mutually terminated in August.
Reports had suggested that Watford were prepared to offer Dennis a one-and-a-half-year contract, but the club has now decided to put the move on hold.
According to reports, the Championship side could revisit the deal in the January transfer window.
Dennis has had two previous spells at Vicarage Road — first joining the club in 2021 before returning on loan in January 2024.
The versatile forward remains a free agent as he continues to assess his options ahead of the next transfer window.
