Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been presented with a “mind-blowing” contract proposal from Saudi Arabia. The Nigerian striker is expected to depart the club permanently this summer, after playing a pivotal role in their Serie A title triumph two years ago.
Last season, the Super Eagles star was loaned out to Turkish giants Galatasaray, but he is still weighing various transfer options. Despite previously rejecting several overtures from Al Hilal, the Saudi Pro League club has returned with a significantly improved offer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the latest proposal could earn Osimhen approximately £34 million annually, amounting to nearly £140 million over a potential four-year contract. Should he accept, Osimhen would rank among the highest-paid footballers globally.
Currently, Osimhen’s contract with Napoli includes a release clause valued at around £64 million.
