Victor Musa Scores as Man United U18s Beat Sunderland, Finish Second in League

Manchester United Under-18 forward, Victor Musa, found the net as his team wrapped up their 2024–2025 season with a 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the weekend.

The match, played at Carrington, saw Felix Scott put visiting Sunderland ahead just two minutes after kickoff. However, second-placed United responded ten minutes before the break through a well-placed header from Amir Ibragimov to level the scores. Moments later, Albert Mills added another header to give United the lead before halftime.

In second-half stoppage time, Musa sealed the win, calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner to extend United’s lead to 3-1.

The Spanish-Nigerian striker capped off a brilliant season with 19 goals across all competitions for the Red Devils’ youth team. Notably, he netted six goals in Manchester United’s 13-1 rout of Leeds United in April.

Although he won’t feature again for the youth side this season, Musa could make a senior debut if included in the first-team squad for one of United’s remaining three fixtures.

Manchester United Under-18s finished the season with 63 points, just two behind U18 Premier League North champions Manchester City.
